Process Optimization

·         microJoining Solutions uses the Design of Experiment (DoE) process, coupled with years of "hands on" production experience, to find a practical optimization point for your welding process.

·         microJoining Solutions identifies and separates the controllable from the uncontrollable inputs before beginning a DoE run.

·         In conjunction with the client, microJoining Solutions selects both quantifiable and subjective output responses for the DoE process that are appropriate to the final use of the welded assembly.

·         Quantifiable output responses include tensile and peel strength along with bending fatigue and various fatigue and life cycle tests.

·         Subjective output responses include failure mode, degree of weld splash, degree of electrode sticking (resistance welding), and cosmetic appearance.
